Jon's Story
Life
Got married right out of college, worked the family liquor store till 1981 and produced kids (4 with Sandy) Sandy passed away in 1989. Remarried in 1993 (2 more kids with Sarah) Divorced in 2002.Single and loving it...workaholic and enjoying life at this point.
School
I really enjoyed Orono and now have a son going there...Mr. Lane finally retired this year...he was the last of our era to leave. Every time I go there I get flooded with good memories of old times and decided to try to establish some form of connection with my classmates.
College
Did 2 years at UMD, history major...joined a fraternity which I am now President of the Alumni Association. Transfered to the main U in Mpls in 1973 and graduated with a business degree in 1975. Have held many jobs since then, now own 3 businesses including a charter boat business on Lake Minnetonka (A Day In The Sun Charters). Would love to do a get together with classmates!
Workplace

ers on Lake mInnetonka from about mid-April til Mid-October...Run the charters, catering and bar for corp and private parties...wine tastings on Thursdays. Own a sign company (12 years) called Banners To Bullseyes...do signs for the MN Vikings, Pepsi and many other major corps in the metro area...specialize in banners/vinyl graphics.
2011 update: Moved to New Orleans 1 month after Katrina hit...worst thing I ever did...talk about life on the edge. Took 3 years to recoup my losses and get back to MN.
Started a new business in Albertville MN...a digital graphics design and sign company called Something Custom Graphics. I specialize in painting sports team, school and corporate logos on Sport Court flooring for both the Sport Court dealers and distributors around the country and for Sport Court Corporate sales both nationally and internationally. Still single , have 1 son who will be a senior this year and is a national metal winner in art, and a 14 year old who will be a frosh this year.
